About

My name is Anna Mori and I am a film editor with over 8 years of post-production experience. I was born and raised in the Seattle area, but moved to Arizona in 2018 to attend Arizona State University and study Film and Media Production at the Sidney Poitier New American Film School. During my time at ASU, I was heavily involved in various student projects and focused on film editing, visual effects and sound design. At the end of my senior year, I was awarded the certificate for Achievement in Film Editing for my work on my senior capstone project, Complacent, as well as my visual effects and sound work on various other capstone projects. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2022 with my B.A. in Film & Media Production.

I currently reside in the greater Seattle area and offer freelance video editing and VFX services, including editing short films, educational videos, and ads. Additionally, I am available for PA work locally and frequently assist on various sets in the area.

I am also passionate about supporting young filmmakers and frequently participate in events geared towards young filmmakers. I have been a judge and professional at the Puget Sound All Girls Film Challenge for several years, and been a judge at “Horrorfest” in North Bend.

Some of my favorite movies are Shutter Island, Everything Everywhere All at Once, & Boyhood. I am incredibly passionate about film and television, but particularly post-production. It is such a great feeling seeing a project come together and take shape in the post process. In the future, I hope to edit feature films or TV shows.
